More H-60 Art by Shayne Meder
First we started with and all black background. Then I outlined the design in chalk. We did this helo in Dec-Jan 05/06. Christmas in San Diego is beautiful.
There were two colors of blue and at first it reminded me of swimming pool blue-but all together it looked cool.
Scott works on all the markings while I work on the bird details..
Roxane hand paints the HSM-41 logo on both sides of the H-60. this is time consuming but shows how good she is with the details.
Computer generated logo on the left-Roxane generated on the right!!
Cool photos by the US Navy
IIn December 2007 HSM-41 asked us to paint another H-60 for them to comemmorate their change from the B model to the R model H-60. This one would be the same paint scheme as the first one but in desert colors.
Because the weather was colder we had to use heat lamps to help dry the paint.
