The Restoration of Huey 619 Continues..

Van helps Frank (inside) replace hardware on the windshield.  Frank and Pat do some repair on the vertical stab area.

Here are some before and after photos. It took considerable prep work to get the interior ready for paint. The black interior was for night vision. We took 619 back to the gray of Vietnam.

The instrument panel was painstaking. All the guages had to be removed. After painting they were all inspected, cleaned and re-installed. Shayne completed all the work on the instruments and panel except for the decals-Pat did those.  Looks pretty good eh?
