Other Cool Photos from Nellis AFB Airshow!!
The F-22 Raptor was pretty awesome to see fly--it could do an amazing climb-out after take-off and appear to almost stop while going straight up, and then rotate to level flight and haul ass! Very impressive!  photo-Shayne Meder
The heritage flight was great, but the best part was seeing the Phantom fly! My only wish was that the F-4 should have been able to do a demo flight, rather than just fly by a few times.

The Predator. What was cool here is this thing was flying all weekend and provided some awesome film footage of the whole airshow. It could even zoom in on a single person! photo-Shayne Meder
Now this is a real combat warrior.

The famous C-141 Starlifter. This aircraft is named "Hanoi Taxi" as it is one of the aircraft that brought home our POW's from Vietnam at the end of the war. It is a flying museum and tribute to those it brought home and those it did not. Inside it has photos all over of those POW's when they were passengers on that glorious flight to freedom.

The AC-47 "Spookie" and AO-37 "Dragonfly". These aircraft were also participants in the Vietnam re-enactment. photo-Craig Clary
The OV-10 "Bronco" ruled the skies in the Vietnam re-enactment.photo-Craig Clary
The A-1 "SkyRaiders" kicked some butt in the re-enactment as well. Commonly called "Sandies." photo-Craig Clary
