Notice in the above photo the Huey with 176 on the door-this is the H model the museum restored in trade for our H model. It has since been delivered to the Army in Alabama. |

The museum painted the Huey in the early 60's Army paint scheme similar to the
B model we already have.
The history on this aircraft is still in research. Since it is such an early model its combat history may be difficult to find since the Army started keeping accurate records in 1966. |

In October 559 finally flew for the first time since 1976! After some adjustments and the required test flying 559 was ready for its debut with the museum! |

On Nov 9th 559 flew to French Valley to join the other Huey for the Nellis AFB airshow the next day. But first we finished the markings and put the familiar red crosses of the 57th Medical Evacuation unit from Vietnam. |
